To provide our services, we use Clerk for authentication. When you sign up, we collect your:

- Profile picture (if provided via social login)
1.2. App Content
To help you split expenses, we store the information you input into the app on Supabase servers:
- Group names and participants
- Expense titles, amounts, and dates
- Settlement and payment records
1.3. Technical & Usage Data
We collect minimal technical data to keep the app running smoothly:
- Push Tokens: Used via Expo to send you notifications about group activity.
- Analytics: We use Plausible for anonymized website analytics. We do not use cookies or track personal behavior.
- Local Storage: A copy of your data is stored in a SQLite database on your device for offline access.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your data strictly to:
- Provide the core bill-splitting functionality.
- Synchronize your expenses across multiple devices.
- Send you important notifications (e.g., when a friend adds an expense).
- Improve app performance and fix bugs.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties or advertisers.
3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption provided by our infrastructure partners (Supabase and Clerk). While we strive to protect your data, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

We rely on trusted partners to provide our service:
- Clerk: For secure authentication and user management.
- Supabase: For cloud database storage and synchronization.
- Vercel: For hosting our landing page.
- Expo: For maintaining the mobile app framework and push notifications.

You have full control over your data:
- Access & Export: You can view all your expenses and groups directly in the app.
- Deletion: You can leave or delete groups. If you wish to delete your entire account, you can do so through the Profile settings in the app.
